Brandon Holthaus is a 38 year old from Baltimore, MD.  Brandon has a Bachelor degree in Film, Video, Theater from Stevenson University.  For 14 years Brandon has worked in the media industry with Maryland Public Television, REJ and Associates, and Stevenson University.  Currently, Brandon is the online editor for Maryland Farm and Harvest, State Circle as well as two half hour specials, Creatures of the Chesapeake and Destination Maryland.

In 2019, Brandon was nominated for his first Capital Emmy award for his work on episode 3101 of Outdoors Maryland. In 2020, Brandon was nominated for a Capital Emmy for his work on Maryland Farm & Harvest. Most recently Brandon was nominated for a the Long Form Editor category at the Capital Emmy Awards for Creatures of the Chesapeake.

When the Covid-19 pandemic started Brandon was instrumental in transitioning the program State Circle from a studio show to an entirely edited program using the Avid Symphony suite without missing a week.

Brandon also co-hosts and produces two weekly sports podcasts, What The Puck and The Caw, both of which have over 300 episodes.  Each podcast is featured on Apple Podcasts, TuneIn Radio, Player.FM, Overcast, Google Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, and Facebook.  

During his off time, Brandon spends time with his 2 Godsons and Goddaughter, Gabriel, Elijah, and Brooke, as well as his dog, Finn, and cat, Herald.  Brandon is also an avid sports fan and professional wrestling fan. He also celebrates Christmas all year long.
