My Past Work PLaylists

State Circle

Starting at the beginning of the covid-19 pandemic I converted the MPT show, State Circle, from a studio show to a show completely assembled in the edit suite. The host and reporters send me their segments and I color correct, add in graphics and transitions, cut the show to the standard 26:46 working along side the producer of the show, and deliver the finished show to Master Control and create digital files of the reporter packages and an mp3 for radio purposes.

Steven Raichlen’s Project Fire Season 4

Deciding it was time to turn up the heat, Steven Raichlen introduces his hottest series yet, Project Fire, a new and insightful exploration of how we grill today and how we will grill and smoke tomorrow.

With a dynamic new format that includes on-set guests and off-road field trips, innovators of live fire cooking join Steven to share revolutionary new techniques that will elevate the backyard barbecue experience - from ember-roasting and salt slab grilling to fire-heated iron and high tech rotisseries.

Project Fire will introduce new foods from unfamiliar cuts of steak to eco-friendly seafood, and new twists on popular classics such as entire meals cooked on the grill, from breakfast to paella to clambakes. And, as usual, there will be a jaw-dropping collection of new tools, fuels, and grills.

MPT Specials

In 2021 I worked as the finishing editor on two magazine specials for MPT, Creatures of the Chesapeake and Destination Maryland, both of which won Capital Emmy awards. I also worked on the episode 4038 of MotorWeek. For each show, I worked with a producer to make the show ready for air.

Maryland Farm & Harvest Series Producer (Seasons 5-Season 9)

Ever been to a Maryland farm to see how our food is grown? Have you seen a cow being milked, or corn being harvested at night? How about watermelons being hand-picked or broccoli seedlings being gently planted into the soil in early spring?

In fact, many Marylanders have never visited farms, though they've driven by them many times without knowing it.

To help Marylanders learn more about agriculture - the state's number one industry - Maryland Public Television (MPT) in partnership with the Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA) has created Maryland Farm & Harvest, an Emmy award-winning series that puts a human face on farming.

Hosted by Joanne Clendining, Maryland Farm & Harvest takes viewers around the state to see and experience what it's like to run a 21st century farm – from technological advances and conservation challenges to age-old complications such as weather hardships. MF&H also captures the number one reason why planters and growers dedicate themselves to it all: their simple love of farming.

Outdoors Maryland Season 29 - Season 31

Outdoors Maryland, produced in cooperation with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, has been on the air for 33 seasons. This award-winning series delights viewers each week with thought-provoking stories depicting the region's diverse collection of ecosystems, people, and places. The show's beautiful photography and thoughtful scripting capture Maryland's vast diversity and stunning beauty.
